If we can sign Greenwood for £1.5m

What's to stop other clubs buying him though? If West Ham or someone of that ilk come in, we don't have a chance, I'd say go for him as soon as we can afford it.

On the other thread it was said he could be recalled by Leeds in January? That doesn't sit right with a £1.5m right to buy clause. If we do have such a clause, we should snap him up, not just because of the free kick yesterday, but his general workrate, quality he's shown in patches and youth suggests that with our current model of buy cheap, develop, sell on he's more than worth a punt. It's a bit like buying shares, you pick the ones that you think are cheap and are going to go up - but no-one really knows which are the best picks.
