We all know how English transfers go ( this doesn’t happen in other countries btw) once that bench mark is reached then it becomes the new norm.

so is 100m now the going rate
 
Quite an over complicated title but what I’m saying is that does this mean that all England players will now be branded in this bracket or close to say JWP or even the fringe players like bamford lingard etc as this today will have a huge knock down the leagues. Just as the tip and shearer deals did
 
Rice is being bounded around at 100mil. I mean he's very good but he's basically a holding CM who 'holds' and offers nothing goals or assists wise.

I can't believe Grealish or Rice are worth 100mil. To think Kane is probably available for 100-120 and he's scored 250+ goals. A very strange market.

Then you see Harry Wilson going for 10mil to a champo club. No wonder we or anybody struggle to sign players (that's even without the issue of wages).

This is exactly my point.
 
100M is chump change for the likes of the Man City owners so it’s pretty meaningless trying to analyse it too much.
