ICI

Did an industrial placement year in an accounts office in the 90s at Wilton.

Went back when I graduated and worked on a SAP implementation/support.

They genuinely were happy days.

Served my time in Billingham. Worked several sites including LP Ammonia. Worked on Cassel a few times and at JM too

Was never actually employed by ICI but worked as a consultant on many capital projects with ICI then Huntsman then SABIC. The first one being the Boiler 5 reversion to coal firing in '86.

Woah there buddy, boiler5, I wrote all the software and did the commissioning for that, including the stacker/ reclaimer, what were you on it? Then later put in all the control systems on the station to the current stuff. Did a lot of other plants across Teesside and elsewhere, though generally more chemical/ pharma.
