I wish Wilder would stop saying “CV”

I know we’ve all been overly dramatic about it not quite working with Chris.. but he left us in good shape and with a squad that should see us promoted this season. Same with Sheffield tbh.. quite the legacy. Looks like Leeds are going to steal the march on us next season in the premier league with them already having an established squad and Chris Wilder at the helm! Nothing like strong healthy competition from the northern teams.

They’ll certainly be giving Newcastle something to think about over the summer!
Klopp, Guardiola, Wilder.

When you think of top managers in the English game, these three immediately spring to mind. Only one is available though. Not hard to do the math is it?

Mind he might hold out in case the Liverpool job becomes available. Particularly as their fas are used to the manager wearing a tracksuit.

Ideally Wilder would jump into the Leeds job.. lay the foundations for next seasons promotion then replace Klopp in the summer.

Chris Wilder rumours on twitter spreading like wildfire, he’s put himself forward, he’s in talks, he’s in Leeds..

Like I always said, very much underrated, did exactly what Bielsa did but on less money.. had a bit of a blip here at boro.. but we were in transition and things didn’t work out.. these things happen. Still very much respected in these parts and at Sheffield. Whether Leeds United could afford him is another question. Everton clearly couldn’t.. and I would say right now that Everton are a bigger club than Leeds.
sheff utd and us are hardly giving him any great references, sheff utd's owners come out to do a interview to let everyone know how he acted for the last few months of his employement and sent presser out to let everyone know he has been straight out sacked which is rare and speaks volumes

Sheff Utd, Middlesbrough.. Leeds United feels like the next step up. Once his name was mentioned I couldn't imagine anyone else in the role.

Well his jobseeking interview has been picked up by the Yorkshie Post too...

Hilariously, it mentions in the second paragraph before going into his interview that Wilder was sacked by Sheffield. Then in the third paragraph that he was sacked by Boro. Then obviously whilst picking bits from his interview it also includes the bit where he says he's only had his contract terminated once in 20 years...🤪

That would have been the perfect short-term move for him to keep the cash rolling in and "enhance his CV". I can only assume that having seen what happened at Boro the Pittodrie upper echelons wrote into his potential contract stiffer penalties that would limit his ship-jumping abilities...😉
Leeds is the perfect job

44-1 then 33-1 now 25-1 in places..

------------------------Meslier---------------------
----------------Koch--Cooper--Struijk------------
Kristensen--McKennie--Adams--Roca--Harrison
--------------Sinisterra--Summerville------------

6 points against Man Utd would be in the bag from the old 3-5-2
