I think Sam Morsy is going to be a vital player for us this season

One of those players you see for the opposition & dislike so much, a sort of ugly player, nothing personnel Sammy lad, but a player every team needs, dosen't let up always in the opposing teams faces, wins the ball & plays it short, even against Playmouth he was pushing his luck with the ref

So chuffed we got him last season, can only see him improving under NW (y)
 
Yep. He was the one i was hoping we could get from Wigan to bolster the leadership in the squad and give us a player that was the championship version of a Robbie Savage type. He isn’t easy on the eye always, but he is good at breaking up play and you notice his loss when he isn’t on the pitch. He does play on the edge at times and will pick up his fair share of cards but his presence allows others to push forward more. If Payero does come he will have the licence to press forward with Morsy alongside.
 
Whoever plays in that position for a side wanting to be top 2 needs to be able to play under pressure and keep the ball, hopefully morsy is the man to do it for us

That is not something Morsy has shown he can do. If he doesn't release it quickly, he's usually robbed of the ball.
