I miss football

Can’t wait until this all blows over. You don’t realise how much you really do love the game until it’s gone. I know there is a bigger picture at the moment but football is a massive release for a lot of people. Can’t wait until it’s back, end of the season if it happens should be class hopefully with fans. But at the moment I would take behind closed doors games until the end of the season if it’s a way of finishing the season.

Yes agree, big part of our lives, you could even see a big surge in attendances all around the country

Yep, it’s truly a wonderful game. Can’t wait until we can all enjoy it again and debate about certain things within the game. You can’t beat it

It's not just the 'football', either. I miss schlepping abround the country getting to and from games. I miss seeing familiar faces at away games even you rarely, if ever, speak to most of them. I even miss some of whingers who sit near me at the Riverside.

Hard to get a life when all we can do is go to work and go home. Also, yes it’s only been a week or so but it’s the fact that we know it’s not returning any time soon. At least with an international break you know it’s coming back and you had some footy to watch and other sports on at the same time. This is different but I’m sure you know that

A League still going ahead (my team, Wellington Phoenix, have that Geordie stalwart Stephen Taylor as Captain). Think you might be able to get that on SKY.

Games with the Phoenix and Victory are postponed as they played in Welly last week and are in 2 week isolation in Oz. Once they are out intention is to play behind closed doors, and play catch up.

I’m more bothered about golf and flat racing to be honest.
