Q: Stoke, are in a relegation battle. So, they are in a very different situation to Leicester but I presume with the fight they are in it means it will not be any easier a game?

MC:
Nah nah its not. No game is any easier than any other. I think there are different challenges, there are different styles, different players that you are playing against. It doesn't necessarily mean it is going to be any easier. I think the league has proven that of who can beat each other. You can never take anything for granted. I literally do not pay any attention to the league table of where a team is when we play against them. You look and access them for what we see and the performance and their threats. The points is kind of irrelevant when we are planning for that. This is certainly the case again because they have done a lot of good things recently in their games and we need to be aware of that which we are.

Q: You looked very pensive at the side of the last home game v Plymouth studying what was going on out on the pitch. There will be a lot of fans travelling down to Stoke. Are you confident that we can deliver a performance that steps up from last week.

MC:
Yes, of course I am confident. We have proven we can do it. We can do it again. And it doesn't change my belief in the boys at all.

I like his responses, it feels very similar to early Ferguson at Man Utd.
He said this during our torrid start to the season - lets hope he is proven right again.
It was very good news regarding Jonny Howson yesterday wasn't it. Set to return in a couple weeks. Although Hayden Hackney being further back was disappointing.
