I am a little disappointed to be honest

On the face of it a 10 match unbeaten run is fantastic especially after last season. We now sit just 4 points behind top spot - but we could have had those 4 points this week alone. We certainly should have had more than the 2 points we did pick up. We have been at least the equal of and frequently the better side in every game we have played this season. Once again it is the lack of a cutting edge that has prevented us reaping the rewards our performances have merited. This has been a problem that has plagued us for years now. Even in the best of the Karanka years we were relatively low scorers. It's a very frustrating aspect of watching us play.

I think Warnock is doing a great job but I think he has missed a trick this week in not giving Roberts a chance especially in the Blackburn game. It does make you wonder what is the point of having him if you don't play him?

I think you have to accept Warnock for all that he does. You can't have a bit of his plan. Today was typical "Cardiff". Out of the box quickly. Settle in to not give them a chance. Use the open play in the last 10 minutes to (hopefully) score the winner.

Completely different story if our strikers take their chances, Assombalonga had to score that at Blackburn and Akpom should score that today.

Think we all need a little perspective, as frustrating as the last two games have been, we have again barely given up a chance against two of the best attacking sides in the league. Both away from home too. This time last season we would have lost both games 3/4-0

Feels like that run of games without scoring when Karanka first joined. Frustrating but you feel we are building something very special.

Agree but, in theory, if we draw against the top teams then beat the teams below us (Coventry and Forest) then we go up as the number of teams below us will eventually increase!

Makes you wonder what a few shrewd signings in January will do for our chances. I think we will be up there pushing for top 2 if we can just bring in that predatory striker from somewhere, and a genuine winger wouldn't hurt as well.
