He passed after a battle with pneumonia. He had been poorly for a few weeks with pneumonia before a positive test in the hospital.Very sad. All the things he went through to lose his life to this dreadful disease. People may say, yeah he was old but still it’s no way to go.
It seems I am misinformedHe passed after a battle with pneumonia. He had been poorly for a few weeks with pneumonia before a positive test in the hospital.
I did the same yesterday but was wondering how long to keep it like that for - a week seems good. For one week to respect our national treasure Captain Sir Tom Moore
In fairness to Johnson, and I think he is a waste of good oxygen, he had no choice. Now Johnson says he wants the nation to observe a minute's applause tonight for Sir Tom. I'd happily do it for the old fella but am I being churlish in refusing to get involved in Johnson's hijacking his good name for a political ride?
I felt exactly the same. I spent a minute thinking about what he did to try and support our frontline workers and cheer the nation up, that's much better than a politicising statement from Johnson. Now Johnson says he wants the nation to observe a minute's applause tonight for Sir Tom. I'd happily do it for the old fella but am I being churlish in refusing to get involved in Johnson's hijacking his good name for a political ride?
