I’d rather be a sock cooker...

I'd rather not to be honest. I think that I MAY be doing that in one eye if that ghostly jellyfish is anything to go by.
You should get it checked out mate. Just remembered Mrs V had something similar about 2/3 years back and ended up in Newcastle's RVI on Christmas Eve. Turned out to be something minor but they said they had feared that it was the retina detaching bit by bit. Best be safe.

Yes, good advice. Can be fixed quite easily if you catch it in time I believe, by injecting fluid into the eyeball and holding the retina to the back of the eyeball or something.

Spoiler alert, I am not an eye surgeon btw.

Is that the standard procedure for blokes who see spectral jellyfish out of one eye at night? You've really reassured me there mate.

Mmmmm, well as I say I'm no expert although I do have 2 eyes of my own.

A guy on TV over here had issues with his eyes and went through this procedure.

Was injected with gas, not liquid. But definitely worth getting checked out.

No way that I'm watching that. I'll stick with the jellyfish for now. I'm pretty sure that he/she means me no harm. He/ she is welcoming. He or she undulates at me. Been a fairly long time since anyone else did that. I appreciate the advise but I think that I'll just put up with it for now. I can still just about see most of the time. And my right eye is never any bother. And I never drive if the left one is really playing up and that really doesn't happen very often anyway. Just annoying as flip when it gets like this. I'll be fine in a day or two.

A change in topic is always funny but yeah get your eye checked..

my missus had a blurry spot on one eye and ignored it... then when it got worse she started getting it checked out and it took them months to determine (by chance) that due to sleep apnea and a raise in blood pressure during the night, pressure had crushed the optic nerve.. the eye still functions but all she has is a light or dark perception in that eye...

She is still snoring as well 😭😭😭
