Huddersfield (A) Sold-Out

It sounds like an additional allocation was added so presumably we ended up with 2300 or so.
Edit 'Our Carabao Cup trip to Huddersfield Town has now sold out to Boro fans.
Our full allocation for the first round tie was 2,325.'
Fantastic support.

Great support with great prices.

Hopefully more fun for the travelling horde than the last time 😂

Must admit im surprised...team will likely be u21s and fringe players and warnock never put a strong team out in the carabao either. Glorified reserve game really

Looking at the rules we can claim 10% of capacity, which would be 2410 tickets. Those extra 170 might have been enough for demand.

I wonder how many bought tickets just for the Priority Points, with no intention of attending the match.
Many I imagine. It’s funny how as soon as the sell-out was announced many tickets at face value started appearing on social media.

Lot of this going on too, people with points offering out of the goodness of their hearts to buy a ticket for other fans with less points…

I've always thought that problem was overstated, but the number of people who've had a "change of plans" within hours of Coventry and Hartlepool Huddersfield tickets going on sale is a bit suspicious

To the fans complaining about fans going for extra points.
Get used to it guys , all the bigger clubs fans do it. What it means is our away support is becoming larger and people are becoming more aware of opportunities to get points for tickets otherwise they might not have enough. If you feel bad about this don't worry I must have gifted the club £95 + for homes games last season without being able to attend or give them away so it's not all bad from the club's point of view of course you might have to worry that my mega 20+30 points will deprive you of your once or twice visits away to the Mackems or the Bellends, don't worry I don't have any intention of going even if I could, unless we get them in the FA cup.
What maybe is a better response than the equivalent of curtain twitching is to get on to various fan bodies and the club and push for larger allocations that the derisory allocations we are being offered because this is what this type of buying a symptom of.
My intention with my points is hopefully if we have a good season and when it gets to the business end I be able to attend the relatively close matches to me of Cardiff and Southampton, if they have significant meaning to our season I be gutted to miss them, especially as it be season ticket holders coming down who wouldn't normally go to them or even most away matches.

If I don't go to Huddersfield, which is still on for me to go , I'm waiting for new of the trains on the evening back to Manchester then who have I stopped going., Another person who wasn't sure they could go? Someone who was waiting foolishly to the last moment before buying, I certainly haven't stopped a family or a disabled supporter, that someone who found out at the last moment they could go, are always going to have this problem wether people use tickets to boost priority points or not.
