Apparently his goal was ruled out for offside was onside. The gazette are running a story just now. Was a cracking finish aswell. Ffs man

I didn’t think he was offside watching it live. Then when they showed a replay I still didn’t think he was offside, (although was a bad camera angle) and then Maddo said ‘yeah, linesman can have that one. He was correct, offside’ and I still thought ‘eh?’

Maddo is a bit of a clown in the commentary box. He also managed to miss the professional foul on Tav when he was dragged down about 5 yards away from the ball and was mystified by the ‘bizarre’ decision of the ref to book the Reading player.

Used to think he was a decent commentator couple of years ago but I think he’s woeful at the moment, I disagree with nearly everything he says and he can’t pronounce half of our players names.

Yes I agree he has gone backwards. I like his passion for the Boro but he seems to have gone very critical of the young players in particular and indulges in long explanations of how play could have been better executed. I eventually turned him and Drury down today on the live feed, they got on my nerves.
