35 and 3 successive one year rolling contracts. Yet still not 'replaced' by anyone 'as good' or better. Still our best CM. I perfect partner for Hackney. I imagine he is learning so much from Howson.
Think it says a lot about him. I imagine being 35 in CM isn't easy. It's not like an aging CB.

Injured for months, is it any wonder he was a bit rusty when he first came back?

Given how essential he is to our play,possibly a big contributer to our "lulling the league in with giving them a month or two head start" trend of each season.
