Howson’s Half volley’d pass for Tavs goal.

That was a worldie that, imagine if a liverpool player made that pass? SSN would be creaming in their pants

My dad was in Middlesbrough hospice a couple of years back, the nurses told us that the following week some Boro players will visit the hospice, I told the nurse my dad, who was 82, had been going to Boro games since he was 11 & a present ST holder, the hospice arranged the players to visit my dad, along with BBC radio

Jonny Howson was so polite & respectful to my dad & handed a signed shirt, which I now own, along with Adrian Flint, very respectful they both were

When they came in & chatted to my dad, my dad turned round & said, 'who are these, I said 2 Boro players dad & named them, my dad then said, well I went to see them when they were bad 😊

I have some cracking photos & video footage of the 4 of us & my daughter of that day, two very humble footballers a day to live forever

That's lovely to hear Erimus 🙂

It was very similar to Wings winner at home to them, he just stood still. No effort thank goodness, whereas our 'unknown' keeper stood like a colossus.

Was impressed with Dejan today. Bit flappy on a couple of crosses but it was a windy afternoon so might let him off with that, a couple of fine saves and a clean sheet though. He did well and rightly so got a high score in the gazette, he’s got a hell of a punt up field on him. More to come from him looking forward to seeing how he plays in the last set of games

Yeah he played well today Block21, although I have been quite impressed with Pears for a young lad and think he's been quite unlucky to lose his place. Would be happy with those 2 for next season (y)

it must of been a blow for young Pears to come out of the team when he did but looking back, I think Woodgate made the right decision at the time. Now few months later down the line it looks like Dejan still has the gloves even with a new manager, should be a good battle. I would like Dejan to really make the position his own these last 7 games with Pears pushing him hard so we don’t need to go out and sign a no 1 next season. Hopefully like you say these 2 lads are good enough

You can pick up some really good keepers either on loan from the Prem or for next to nothing. There are some excellent keepers in the Championship. I was really impressed with Rodak (Fulham) for example when he played on loan for Rotherham at the Riverside. They got a 0-0 draw and he was outstanding. He got sent off the next time he played here for Fulham but despite that has established himself as the No.1 at Fulham now.
I've always liked Lee Camp he saved a penna this season at the Riverside, could probs get him for buttons if Warnock doesn't fancy then 2 we have...
