Presently as he feels the Newcastle squad isn’t big enough. A blow to a lot of Championship clubs including us!
 
So the richest club in the world can't move on a forward who doesn't play because they are struggling to bring others in? 😂

I really don't see it being a great window for them. Who the feck wants to go with a real possibility of champo football next season.

That said I'm not overly fussed. I suggest if we are 'well down the line' with 2 forwards then he's not one of them.

Doesn't bode well for them, I was thinking they'd be lining up a few 'journey men' players to try & get them out of trouble, if they're struggling to bring anyone in then it'll be curtains for them

Merry Christmas Erimus. I think they will struggle to bring quality in - who will want to join a relegation threatened team? Signing a couple of decent strikers will be a challenge.

This, I can also see them getting a couple of decent loans in to the end of the season, It’s not like they can’t afford the big wages, though they are only allowed 2.

Players like
Aubameyang, Martial, Lingard, Henderson,

a few at Chelsea may want more game time, Ziyech, pulisic etc

It's the other end of the pitch that needs the most attention. Their defence is woeful.
 
I agree, though they might struggle to get any decent defenders on loan. Even Paying for them will be a struggle, Strongly linked with Tarkowski but can’t see him going there and risking his chance of an England squad place for the World Cup if they go down. A lot of the foreign ones again won’t want to risk World Cup places or relegation, even if they do get 1 or 2 it may take a while for them to settle in.

I can see a fair few international mercenaries coming in and sitting on massive wages doing nothing in a year or two.

I think they might have to rely on loans from big clubs, picking up players not getting a game, such as Jesse Lingard
