For the size of their catchment areas they both are really not that well supported especially Sunderland. They didn't even sell out the other season at home in the playoffs.

I’m amazed Leeds haven’t increased their capacity based on catchment areas surely over 60k is more suitable.

Leeds have possibly the biggest catchment of all, but in recent years struggled to average more than 25k( pre promotion runs). They do have plans to rebuild their main stand and increase capacity (to 50kor so).

I think be about 25k for first home game against Bristol depends how we perform at Fulham like if we do well the crowd will increase slightly but if we are embarrassed some will wait

We tend to get decent opening home game crowds. This will have added attraction of the first home game for 17 months.

Pretty much full every week in 98/99.

If we start wth 25k we should manage the odd game with 30k but wel need to do well and also sign a shock striker .

I would guess 17k season tickets plus 1.5k walk ups plus 1k away fans = 19.5k for an average game.

However the first game we should get more like 23k and of course Xmas week will get 28k to boost the average.

That based on finishing say 8th or 9th.
