How many of the Left Wingers on Here, have got Tickets for Question Time in the Boro, this coming Thursday?

Last Thursday's show was quite lively after the Tory Donor's comment against Diane Abbott? Is anybody aware of who the guests will be on the panel this week? I would imagine some of the Tees Valley Mayoral candidates would be keen to get a bit of publicity with the upcoming election in the near future?

When you say left wingers you really need to be more specific otherwise a few might get upset. A reference to the current position of the Overton Window would help (although 99% of the population has never heard of it). And to appease those who might be upset, work on the basis that the centre of UK politics is in fact the 'Tory Left' (it isn't but play along 😉).

They now say the audiences reflects National voting patterns - so they will have to bring in voters from outside Middlesbrough say Great Ayton, Stokesley, Saltburn to get Conservative vote to 43% in the audience.

Central Middlesbrough has a number of people from a Muslim background which could be interesting is Gaza if discussed.

I would hope someone would ask a question about how more employment opportunities can be generated in the Teesside region to stop the brain drain out of the region, and similar post industrial regions. Citing how recent initiatives since 2015 appear to be making little difference with increasing levels of economic inactivity amongst the local population in both absolute and relative terms.

Man who looks suspiciously like a local mayor with a comedy moustache asking flattering questions about Teesworks progress.

Lady from the mean streets of Yarm asking about the boats washing up there with immigrants.

Person who once visited Hartlepool for 20 minutes asking if the the NHS might be being too nice by treating people who have the terrible cheek to develop a need for attention in A&E.

The audience producer for the Mentorn Media, makers of BBC Question Time is
Alison Fuller Pedley. She picks the audience, and she’s either a fascist or just likes to hang out with them.
Even the BBC have reprimanded her some of her far right media posts.
Stick her name in Google. Makes for interesting reading.

Didn't audiences used to be based on the voting in that particular seat?

I'm sure they did but Fiona Bruce presents this new way as if it has always been the case.
