How many days annual leave do you get?

I get 27 plus bank holidays - I think.

Having an employer that embraces WFH and flexitime does mean that personal appointments or errands that would have required a full days holiday in the past no longer do so. I think that is more important than baseline numbers.

I've been working from home for 7 years now. Echo comment above that it means you don't have to take little bits of time off because gas man is coming or electrician fitting a few things, which is definitely a bonus.

Absolutely, I can't recall when I last took time off for Dr's appointments, to catch an early afternoon flight on a weekend, to pick my little girl up from school or even because I fancy a pint at 3pm on a Friday.

26 + Bank Holidays but with a bit of smart planning and booking Bank Holiday weeks I can usually make them stretch out to around 7 full weeks off a year.

32 days plus bank holidays but been there forever, any people on new contracts don’t get that, think they start around 26 but accrue more over time.

Lad I know told me he worked on the sites with a lad who was always nowhere to be seen on a Friday. He got hauled in front of the gaffa and asked why he was doing 4 days a week.

Because I can’t live on 3 was supposedly the reply 🤣

Work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and get 27 days holiday but if my shift lands on bank holidays I have to work, take the rough with the smooth I guess

26 now, plus bank holidays, I usually buy 5 a year to make it 31. I have been considering buying 10 next year which is the maximum you can buy.
