How lucky are we - to support the Boro?

Blackburn are third. It is their Christmas game. And the attendance is 18,128 with Boro fans making up 4,895 of that. So 13,233 non-Boro fans could be bothered to turn up. And I repeat, they are THIRD!
I wonder if their 'good time' part-time support will suddenly balloon if they were to get promoted.

They arent blessed with the identity and loyalty Boro command.
Boro is more than a football club.
Its the thread which binds lives together.
Sadly, for Blackburn, its not quite that important, though the die-hards are true believers (y)

Blackburn is half the size of Teesside and is surrounded by other football teams. Immediate neighbours are similar sized teams and they are big rivals so not many people in Burnley, Preston, Blackpool etc support one of the others. On top of that they are very close to Manchester and Liverpool so lose a lot of fans to the big clubs there.

Their attendance hasn't got near their peak in the 90s of high 20ks for a long time but lots of teams have suffered similarly.

I knew this would be the stock reply but it’s wrong.

No other club has gone from 86 and oblivion to a uefa cup final. With 7 finals along the way including a double final in one year.

None.
Pick another club and tell their story and no your would gone from a to b the same as them either

There are better football stories out there than the boro
