How is Burgzorg on the pitch before McGree, Jones or Forss.

Only two of the team that lost to Stoke played yesterday though - Ayling and Hamilton.

So it was basically a completely different team
 
Nobody is struggling for options. We make mistakes at the back so take your pick there. We miss chance after chance after chance so take your pick there too. And then there’s the like-for-like subs regardless of what’s actually happening in a game, two of our best players sitting on the bench - McGree MUST be selected to play at all times imo, you can’t have him playing for Australia and not Boro.

Then there’s the steadfast refusal to even consider switching things up and going with two strikers, or going a bit longer to mix it up and keep the opposition honest in terms of their shape and how they’d respond to a longer pass, would they come out and allow a gap to open or would a longer pass create some chaos in their own box, etc.

There are no targets here. There are many issues to solve though. We are nowhere near where we should be imo.

It’s a major problem for us , if he can’t be fit enough we can’t rely on him . When he’s in the bench I can only assume he’s not 100% fit otherwise he needs to play every game .

Josh is a very good player, i just don’t think Carrick rates him or thinks he doesn’t fit how he wants us to play. I reckon he’d have more goals than Lath has at this point if he’d stayed here because he’s a tidy finisher

yep we’re the international team and Australia is his club side.

I’m sure he’ll start midweek and then at the weekend just to make sure he’s fit enough for the next international break
 
Rarely gets a shot at goal most his shots are blocked.Kieran Scott has proved he has a good eye for a decent player but will never understand this signing.He had a bad attitude at Huddersfield.

Closely followed by Burgzorg who despite only having 20 mins on the pitch and getting himself involved is castigated because he did t play like Johan Cruyff and score twice when he came on. Certain players get targeted and despite anything that happens on the pitch certain people will not be swayed from giving their damning indictments come what may. It’s what football fans do.

So who did get a shot at goal Saturday ? As has already been pointed out earlier he wasn’t on the pitch for 2/3rds of the game and yet managed to have a shot on target (ok straight at the keeper) unike the forwards who played for much longer.

The way some are going on you'd think he came on, smashed one in our net and then got sent off.
