How did you greet the news today

Without being too descriptive I was sat In the bathroom this morning listening to talksport news and when they announced it I screamed in glee with window wide open to which it echoed down to next doors garden with them in it .
Christ knows what they must have wondered what I was getting up to !

Was pure joy . I couldn’t believe it when in the same bulletin we had Warnock . I’m still bouncing so b***r my neighbours

Saw @JM14 post and thought not again. Building up my fragile hopes and then I saw the club statement - hallelujah!!
Just hope he isn’t kept on in any capacity. Surely he’d have more self respect?

I placed some matchsticks under my eyelids in order to support them following my paralysed expression held since last Saturday, I put the kettle on, had a nice cup of Valerian Root Tea, and whilst having a soothing warm lavender bath suddenly shrieked EUREKA!!! much to the disquiet of the household, neighbours and local wildlife.

Still gobsmacked to be honest, as much as I wanted it and pressed for it on here I sure never expected it. Mixed emotions though, delighted he’s changed Woodgate and delighted it’s Warnock we have brought in, but even after all my clamour to get shot of Woodgate I feel for him as it must be a tough day for him. Hopefully he can see why the decision was made, and that it was made for the best.

Been glued to my phone all day barely got any work done cos of this. Buzzing for Saturday. Really hope we get a positive result.

I heard on route while cycling to Hurworth, cycled their faster hoping the cameras would be there & maybe an interview on my thoughts on the new appointment, but not a camera in sight

Just saw the headline without the full statement at first, assumed it would be Keane until the end of the season.....

Warnock isnt the sort of manager I ever really wanted at the club, but in such a short space of time he is the only one we could have got that will keep us up. Start again next season, shift the out of contract players and get a good manager with a good long term vision for the club

Colin is going to get his 1500 games as a manager under his belt & thats us down.

i wonder when he last saw us play.

no point in getting emotional over the manager, Boro never have the balls to see it through.

were my thoughts

I've said on a number of occasions on the old board that whilst we are in this division we need to get Warnock which was replied to at times with some derision. I now hope and pray that I don't need to eat my words. I will pay £10 to a charity of Rob Nichols' choice if Warnock fails to keep us up.
