How ambitious is Steve Gibson?

That is undoubtedly true, but it is also 28 years ago.

Why is it not fine to praise the man and recognise his drive, ambition, vision and guts in achieving what he did to 2006, AND now question his dictatorship of the club since then and his capability to lead us into the future?
 
Years ago he was VERY ambitious. Without a doubt. Sadly these days, he doesn’t appear to have any ambition- certainly well hidden if he does have any!

Added to rank bad decision- making and to me he doesn’t really cut it.

It is not merely ambition that worries me.
He didn't have a lot of money when he got control of the club, neither did he have a lot of experience of top level football. His ambition and courage paid off at that period in time.
Now he is a financial minnow, but more worryingly gets more wrong the longer he stays in position.
The ambition has obviously subsided, but the wealth is insufficient (he can't get near competing) and he has not grown in capability and know how.
