House prices in Middlesbrough

Apologies for the link to the Daily Heil, but I came across this article.

Scroll down to the description of the cheapest houses, it's great comedy :-

"In the Brambles Farm area of North Yorkshire, this three-bedroom semi-detached home is on sale for £11,00.

It has a long, stone pathway to the door and a large front lawn as well as a garage.

The home is nestled within the beautiful surroundings of North Yorkshire and was also recently renovated. "

The house in the town above this one is a house, not a flat as the article claims too :ROFLMAO:

Comes to something when the London based DM is trying to induce people to move to Teesside, guess we'll be back to normal after the mayoral election in a few weeks!

I started a thread a couple of days ago on the cheapest post code in Britain - TS1

Stretching it to Teesside there are some nice areas where £120k will buy you a 2 bed property that a London resident could live in and feel safe and at ease.

Haha, all those daft southerners paying a king's ransom for houses down south and we can get more or less the same thing here in Brambles Farm for an absolute song.

Unfortunately the property prices in central TS postcodes will absolutely rocket based on this article's existence.

UTB.
