I probably agree with that. Those were magnificent though.
You have to admit that Rachel Goswell was nicer to look at than Mark Gardener though. That's probably why I preferred Slowdive in those days. I really liked The Pale Saints back then too.

The Comforts of Madness is one of my favourite albums.

I went to college with the drummers brother, so we got to meet them at a gig. Ian Masters was a very bright guy.

Thought that they were a bit similar to Ride. A great debut album and then the stuff that followed was OK but nowhere near as good as that first album was.
