I've seen absolutely nothing to suggest 'he will make it'. Although that's based on very few and far between cameos. I've actually only seen him in the flesh twice.

Also hardly amazing loan spells away from us. I mean he didn't even score regularly in the SPL. His career scoring record is poor for a 'CF'.

I'm sure he maybe used. Especially with the Xmas fixture pile up and both cups. I presume he can play from the 1st of Jan? So may play against Villa.

Yet im not expecting him to solve the CF issues. I'm sure he will be shipped out and we will sign another either perm or on loan.

He's wasn't a 'punt' either. Apparently around 2mil. Although probably paid in instalments based on progression etc. Doubt we'll get much back 😕
 
The recruitment team has spotted something, he may not have shown it but if ever is in a position to try and stake a claim it will be the next run of matches from the 1st Jan, I hope he takes it 👍
 
He has supposedly said he wanted to come back here to fight for his place rather than discuss a perm deal with his loan team so you'd think he has had some sort of positive feedback from the coaching staff here that he'll be given a chance or he'd just be wasting his time.

If us paying for him is based on his progression, then so far we've got him on a free.👍
 
I think I've seen him play for about 3 mins Vs Sheff U.

How many minutes has he played for us in total, and is it enough for anyone to have a opinion?

Edit: 68 minutes in total. I don't think that's enough to have an opinion.

Exactly with the injuries mounting and silvera away next month you never know hopefully we will bring in a couple of players quickly.
 
The penny might drop anytime with a player that age, hes got the attributes, 6 goal sin the bundesliga, 8 caps for a decent usa team
so he must have something about him

The penny didnt drop for akpom until he was 27

In fairness, none of us had seen anything from Akpom suggesting he would make it until last season, not that I am comparing the two of course. In fact, I remember one poster on here describe Akpom as the least talented player he had ever seen play for Boro.
