Heckingbottom rant

He absolutely is only saying this because his team conceded two goals in injury time, which was so long because of the way his team played, and because his player was sent off for harassing the referee.

Complaining that Foderingham isn't being allowed to play it out from the back the way he wants, when what he actually means is that Foderingham wasn't able to waste time on a goal kick whilst the opposition can't interfere

I don't have an opinion about Heckingbottom one way or the other, so there is no personal hate.

But you started a thread directly referencing his complaining yesterday, of which his complaints about the standard of refereeing are directly related to the fact he lost the match due to conceding two goals in an extended amount of injury time, without that there's no chance he complains as he has, so he, and you, can dress it up as being about the "standard of refereeing" but the reality is he wouldn't be complaining about it had they won the game.

People have probably been complaining about the standard of refereeing since the game was invented, it's certainly been consistent for as long as I've watched football, and it's probably more often than not directly correlated to whether or not they won the game.

Rattlebottom knows hes under a lot of pressure.
To bring his mentor back would be an act of treachery.
Blades are looking a mess and Archer must be wondering where the hell he is?

I’m on about the standard of refereeing not the personal hate you have for certain individual’s
What points did he make specifically about the standard of referring?
It’s just complaining about the added time which his team 100% caused

If teams don’t want so much added time then stop wasting time and ruining the game for everyone watching

I’m on about the standard of refereeing not the timekeeping

Take away his complaints about timekeeping and Heckingbottom's only comment is that his player got sent off for harassing a referee and he didn't think that was fair.

What exactly has he said that you agree with if not his complaints about referees "not understanding the game" because they weren't letting his side waste time?

Need to stop the hate for Heckingbum because when he gets sacked I can see Gibson appointing him as our next manager 🤔.

The fact that McBurnie told him that a player tugged his shirt so he booked him

The fact that McBurnie told him that a player tugged his shirt so he booked him

Is that why he booked him?

McBurnie flung a Spurs player to the ground at a set piece, the ref blew for a foul because of this and then booked him, McBurnie claimed that he'd had his shirt tugged, but it was a clear foul and I don't think I'd question it being a booking.

Unless the referee has given the official reason for the booking as dissent, it just sounded like more deflection from

It is deflection just as simple as that.

I’m not sure what the thread poster is saying about referees they are human have always made mistakes and always will just like players and managers.
