Heart Rate Monitors?

Bought a Lifeline Chest Strap HRM compatible with Garmin Edge 20 and Tacx Flux S smart trainer.
It worked ok for the first few weeks then stopped.
Changed the battery and checked settings, etc - but still not working properly.
Anyone got a chest strap monitor they can recommend?

I had a garmin one for a number of years that worked fine.
If the Lifeline has stopped working in a couple of weeks I'd see about sending it back for a refund. Wiggle are normally pretty good on that front.

I know this sounds stupid, but I assume it’s blue tooth? If so reboot all of the devices connected you might get lucky. More likely you’ve already tried this.

Wahoo TICKR any good?
Notice GCN recommend them, but Wahoo are one of their sponsors.
They`re about £40.

Yes mate - it works better than the Polar one that I had/have. The connectivity with the polar was hit and miss but the Tickr is way way better. The same rules apply though - you must wet the sensors and your body or it won't connect. I bought the Tickr because I wanted it to work with my Wahoo Elemnt but the Bluetooth is fine working with the computer/Zwift set up

I use the wahoo ticker with ELEMNT Roam and my zwift setup (wahoo Kickr) . I have been using them for 3 years, they sync easily, battery life is good and adjustments on the strap is good.
I used Garmin and Polar before but this is the one I have less issues with.

I have used a Garmin chest strap so its compatible with my Garmin monitors. It works great and seems to be accurate. However I have stopped using it now as I get skin irritations where the sensors are, so Im looking for an alternative, perhaps a wrist one.

also I use the Garmin chest one and it works great, it is much better that the wrist based one I have on my Garmin watch which is definitely not as accurate
