I was told and think I also read it on here that he was having an operation during last season. A mate was talking to his mother yesterday(she works on Station Rd in Redcar) and said that was going to be the case but after seeing Harley Street specialists apparently it was not needed. He has been having physio and a few weeks he and two other players(my mate was told names but can't remember) flew to Porto for some further treatment / phsio and it all seems to have settled down. He is obviously in Portugal now and fully training with the group.

Hope it is sorted wouldn't like him to break down again.

I thought he has had an operation as well. Not sure whether thats good news or bad. Time will no doubt tell.
