Can only presume he was about to be called up to the full Scotland squad and so had to make a decision between England and Scotland, hence going into England u21s.
 
I've been a little disappointed in him so far this season, but only because I think on talent and temperament he is one of the top 5 players in this division.

I think he has been trying a bit too hard to do a bit of everything - hopefully the team in front of him starts to settle down and he can focus on being a good central midfielder as important defensively as going forward.
 
I'm just waiting for the inevitable Hackney backlash to start - you can already see the rumblings. I predict December when it is in full swing.
