Have u seen the queue outside ASDA . On portrack Lane

is the lockdown much different here than Spain apart from the once a day exercise?
Yours seems a little less strict than over here I think.

As you say outdoor exercise is one big difference. Being allowed out in a family group to parks to exercise is another part of that. The focus here is you go out by yourself for as short a time as possible. Unless there is a very good reason.

There also seems to be more focus on wearing protection when you go out over here. Plus sanitising stuff afterwards.

We live in a small town and have just heard a report of a local who was walking around the street aimlessly (not going shopping). She has been given a warning and just managed to avoid a 600 euro fine. So the police are clamping down on that here. Not sure how that will be handled in the UK.

At least it is a start.

Supermarkets produce vouchers to allow a specific number into the store every half hour?
Pick up a voucher - if it says entry time 14:30 hrs, thats when you are allowed in.
No ifs or buts....
Rationing would be.....

You don't even need to pick it up, you can have it on your phone. In China people are being sent QR codes which is basically a pass out for a limited time to go get essentials.

That would be ideal. The UK doesn't even have the infrastructure to send out emergency text messages.

yesterday at Coulby was!
It was worse than normal yesterday.
Never been a fan of McDonald’s but the kids like to go. It irritates me when I take them and the car parks empty apart from a queue of car wait to go into the drive through. Park up and walk in you lazy b***ds(when the pandemic is over)

I think it will probably get stricter over the coming days as councils/police start to get things in place.
I can understand family that live together been able to go out together as long as they keep away from others. It’s just me and my wife and if we are going to catch it off each other it will probably be in the house not outside.

well I had to pop out for a medical emergency.. Coubly/Marton is as busy as normal. Tesco car park looked 2/3 full and people out in their dozens, saw a family of 5 or 6 pushing parms etc. glad to be back home!

It all depends on how strictly it is enforced. The police are clamping down on that sort of thing now in Spain.

We need to be ruthless with the fining, I wouldn't even bother with warnings, break the rules and you're losing a lot of money.

Just been to the local shop. all you need is there except Eggs and that's all I went for. Oh well, bit of fresh air..

and my ****wit elderly neighbours are out again.. yesterday was emergency easter cards.. I wonder if today is emergency easter eggs.

It won't happen to me syndrome until a family member dies and you regret that walk on Redcar Seafront, too late.

I got a text from the government earlier today - a link to the rules. Seems a lot of people are getting them according to social media. I assume that they are bending the mobile companies (I'm on EE).
