Has everyone got a Boro Towel ?

i still have this one from the old Middlesbrough Baths on Gilkes Street - top quality, a little frayed at the edges & not used anymore, but still going after over 40 years

I remember being on holiday in France years ago and I saw this kid with a bright yellow Norwich City towel. I thought what a pillock with his football towel but I made sure I had a Boro one for our next holiday….

It’s obviously a bit like the old ICI towels, every house I went in as a kid had an ICI towel in the bathroom.

My Dad was manager at Gilkes Street baths, always went on about people taking the towels
