My wife’s tested positive everytime she’s tested I’ve tested negative everytimeTesting doesn’t seem as accurate - anecdotally - against this variant.
The booster needs two weeks to afford its full protection so Im not sure it would have played much part in your infection. Best wishes for your recovery.Well it’s finally got me. Had an on/off cold since 30th December, and had an awful sore throat for the last few days. I’d been doing LFT, which were coming back negative, until yesterday when I got a faint positive. Went for a PCR yesterday morning and got the result at 2am to say it was positive.
I had my booster just before Christmas too, so it either it did’t work, or it did and I could’ve been much worse.
Same in October/November 2019 I was in bed for 3 weeks, cough, fever, felt very weak. Doctor put it down to a chronic viral fatigue.I haven't had it but in late 2019 I was really ill and off work for three weeks. It took me a lot longer than that to get over whatever I had and struggled to motivate myself for months.
Get well soon mate.Well after two years it finally got me and crikey this is some illness. Three days of a continuous headache worse than a migraine so far is hell plus the intense coughing, stomach cramps and earache too. Worst Easter ever.
