Has anyone bought a mini kit?

and if so how doers the sizing compare to normal clothes? My son is likely at the top end of it unless the 5-6 is pretty big.
 
I had one that stuck to the window in the car back in Robbos first season - but it wouldn't have fit anybody. Sorry couldnt resist after reading the title of thread.

No idea about kids sized though.

Can't speak for this years kit but last year's 5-6 was probably big enough to fit a 4-5 year old, and was getting snug on my nearly 6 year old (think muscle fit!). After that your out of mini kits and into youth sizes which start at age 7-8 (and shorts and shirt are bought separately). On my 6 year old the first youth size is a little big but not overly so.

Hope this helps, but every kid is a different size as are manufacturers, which doesn't make it easy. I'm sure they'll do returns/exchange if the size is no good.

Thanks - i thought that would be the case. I suspect he'll fall between the mini kit sizing and the smallest youth sixe - i was hoping someone would say the mini kits are big as its far less expensive than buying in the youth sizes.
