Has a keeper ever had a second yellow for timewasting?

I don't think it's happened in England though.

It should have in many games.

I do find it funny that people were adamant that the ref had no choice to send off Declan Rice for gently kicking away a ball when referees constantly ignore blatant time-wasting in matches up and down the country.

My answer is. Yellow card 1st offence, continue to waste time, Ref calls the Captain over and gives him a yellow. HIS team, HIS responsibility. Soon it will end.

Instead of a yellow card, I would like to see a goalkeeper sin binned for 15 minutes for time wasting with the team unable to put a substitute keeper on at such an occurrence.

Why not just

Time wasting 1 - yellow card
Time wasting 2 - second yellow?

As it would be for everyone else.
Time wasting is a funny one, different refs view things differently.

So after the first yellow, yes, the ref could have a word with the captain/keeper and say if it happens again he's off.

I'm too kind aren't I? 😁

Keepers rarely get the second yellow. The best player to time waste. Refs won't do anything. He did it with an injury that broke up a dominant passage of Boro play. Because a keeper is needed in goal, the player can't be simply taken off the field.
A frustrating match but Preston played it perfectly with the ref officiating.

Well sending keepers off more would soon put a stop to it.

Remember when players kept getting sent off for removing their shirts?

I would say; for every 10 seconds the goalkeeper has the ball, one minute is added on at the end of the half. A man in the stands with a stopwatch keeps a count. Job done.
