The Farther Corner - A sentimental return to North East Football.

I wonder just how many football fans over the years have hoped or even asked Harry Pearson for another Far Corner? Well, he has returned again to his old stamping ground. I can't wait to get hold of it and dive in..
In the words of Boro fan, author and former MoTD editor, Paul Armstrong, "Harry Pearson has achieved the impossible and written an equally marvellous sequel to the best football book of all time.." The Far Corner.
As Paul continues, "highly recommended if you're interested in the North East, it's grassroots football or both." The Farther Corner

Where's he living now?

Excellent News- The Far Corner is a masterpiece, as is all his other stuff I've read. Slipless in Settle was particularly good.

The Far Corner is probably my favorite book ever, and so I had this on order as soon as I heard about it. Got delivered a few days a go and looking forward to reading it over the weekend.

Harry's previous book The Beast, the Emperor and the Milkman: A Bone-shaking Tour through cycling's Flemish Heartlands is wort a read, even for those people who aren't so much into cycling and the Spring Classics.

Wanted to go and see Harry read passages from his Belgium cycling book at a cycling cafe in Putney last year but couldn’t get away from work sadly. Agree. A really good read (as are most of his books - Tall Man in a Low Land etc)
