The best sports documentary is back for another series and this years it’s the turn of the Dallas cowboys. To get the hard knocks treatment.

9pm on sky tonight

It's great that Hard Knocks is back, be able to see some behind the scenes stuff that you don't usually see... oh it's Dallazzzzzzzzz
Is this the 4th time they've been on, plus Amazon All or Nothing?

Surely one of the other teams, one which isn't massively overexposed anyway would be more interesting.

Hindsight is everything but the Giants had a few days of spikey behaviour at training camp which culminated in a full defense v offense brawl that saw QB1 (well 1.5) end up at the bottom of the pile. The HC sent the other coaches off the field as he'd deal with them later, the team were then made to do shuttles & laps as punishment while Judge swore at them, the following day 2 senior players quit. The o-line can't stop a pig in a passage, when Jones remains upright he's throwing interceptions & probably won't play in the pre-season opener v the Jets as he's being saved / they need to get a look at Mike Glennon.

Instead we've got zero personality McCarthy & the traji-drama (with sombre voiceover & stirring instrumental) of Prescott trying to recapture his pre-injury form.

There are bound to be loads of teams they could've gone to that would provide something new.

I agree with the comment about Dallas.

But as more of a college football fan anyway, I'd be more likely to recommend the Michigan Wolverines Edition of "All Or Nothing" on Prime, or the Alabama series on ESPN - "Training Days Rolling With The Tide"

I always thought Harbaugh was a half decent coach but blimey the AoN team make him seem like a know nothing nutter.
Harbaugh's a decent fella, and football and Michigan are in his blood for sure. And Michigan IS still (I think) the all-time most winning programme in college. But until they can get a quarterback and an overall 'O', to match the undoubtedly dominant recent 'D', they're going nowhere. And those 'all-time' winning seasons will remain firmly rooted in relatively ancient history.

What I like about hard knocks which is pretty unique in sports docs is that’s it’s not just set in the here and now it’s also shown in it as well.

this weeks “star” on the show could be carrying his cardboard box next week.

it’s just how brutal the cuts at camp are and how transient the the trainees career is.

it’s not a neatly edited highlights packed after the season is done no this is raw in your face direct feedback to what is happening now.
