Bruce Rioch signed Barham from Huddersfield Town in March 1988 making his Boro debut away to Wimbledon on the 25th March, registered No595 when wearing the No11 shirt, he went on to make 4 appearences for the Boro, one as sub

Mark Proctor also made his (2nd) debut that afternoon, Bernie put the mighty Boro one up but Wimbledon equalised

I was there that day, one of 82 grounds I've visited following the Boro

I remember going away to Brighton on the supporters coach one windy night match (28/2/1990) we lost 1-0 with Mark Barham scoring the only goal of the game

I remember Barham's cross for Bernie's goal. And also the thuggery of the 'Crazy Gang'.

Horrible night at Brighton, I think the 50 or so of us there should have a reunion, it got worse after that though as it was Oxford and the end of the Mowbray / Rioch partnership coming soon as this was where they fell out

Yes went the following away game at Oxford too, losing 3-1, when the 1st sign of discontent in the Boro camp when tbe following days headlines were from Bruce saying, "You'll get me the sack"

Never thought it possible
