Hannah Fry

Excellent programme been into it for ages
If you are into sciencey stuff try
Crowd Science or Infinite Monkey Cage
If you get seriously nerdy then try Elements a series of programmes about each element in the periodic table. Where they are found and what they are used for.
Also Sliced Bread is quite interesting All on BBC sounds

I'm not sure how many of you will have encountered Prof. Fry but if nothing else you could do worse than listen to the podcast she does with Dr Adam Rutherford, but this is a very interesting read from The Grauniad

Link to podcasts:
The Curious Cases of Rutherford & Fry
A good read.
And also strengthens my belief that our lack of knowledge for food nutrition and what it does to our cells/bodies is so poorly communicated - she doesn’t mention anything about why she might of contributed to her cancer by her eating habits (meat and dairy) because she doesn’t know - totally understandable!
So much of the narrative is controlled by the meat and dairy industry to stop us understanding the risks more as they have the government’s in their pockets.
Lip service is paid to the notion that for many people avoiding meat and dairy is a case of life or death - literally.

I've been a regular listener for years and can heartily recommend Adam Rutherford's book "How To Argue With A Racist". He's so much more engaging when he's not pretending to be a bit stupid.

I haven't read it, but he's been an excellent serious guest on several other podcasts I listen to and only a few days ago posted this excellent twitter thread in response to a thread overstating the influence of genetic factors of 'race' on athletic performance.
