Had some sort of viral infection for almost a week now

S***s and stomach ache mainly, I've had to come home from work today already due to said symptoms, which massively frustrating as I hate missing work as it is (been off since last Fri). I'm starting to get a bit worried that it's something more sinister if I'm honest (catastrophising), which isn't helping either. Anyone else experienced a (supposed) bug for that long? I'm well and truly fed up with it.

I’ve definitely had it where you think it’s gone but then discover it hasn’t and yeah it can go on for a good few days. I wouldn’t worry too much just yet, but keep an eye on it obviously.

footy forums never a great place to diagnose medical issues (of course). but that said I had a similar thing about two years ago, turned out to be ulcerative colitis, which I live with now. make sure you keep an eye on it, and get further checks if necessary.
