He'd get nowhere near the 1st team of any of the top 6 so the chances of him playing and making enough of an impression to get into the England squad is zero. One of those teams might take him but it would be as a player that gets the odd minutes here and there to develop over a couple of seasons rather than as an immediate starter. His best chance of relay PL football would be a team in the bottom half but fairly safe like Bournemouth, Fulham, Wolves, Palace etc. None of them would give him the exposure to make the Euros.£30m (including add ons) to a ‘top six’ side Premier League side in January will certainly boost his chances of a late push into a Southgate squad. However I don’t think he will displace the likes of Ward Prowse, Maddison, Phillips etc. . Completely understandable and acceptable that we would take this and use circa £10 to £12m to boost right back, No 10 and centre forward roles for a crack at another top six finish. Good luck Hayden .
