I noticed that, the Cardiff comentator picked Hackney out before the game, absolutely raved about him
 
Thought Archer was exceptional last night, natural goal scorer. If he gets played through it's ending up in the net basically.

For his first he was a yard behind their centre half and wrong side. Two seconds later it's hitting the roof of their net. Unplayable at this level.
 
If Wilder was still here, Hackney would have been binned off at the end of the season (if not January) for nothing, probably ending up at a L1/L2 club. 😳😳

Wilder was very much from the Strachan old school player selection - he wants experienced men, not kids, as he doesn't trust them. Barnsley showed that - one poor game and he'd have probably wrapped the academy if it were up to him.

Hackney......well, he's seized his chance and looks a long established Championship midfielder. Well played Leo/Carrick/Hackney 👍
 
Before the game last night I thought our midfield would struggle. Given the players they have in the middle of the park I fancied them to win the midfield battle but it was completely the opposite. We dominated the midfield and made Berge (who is probably the best player in the championship) and Norwood look poor.

Haven't been this confident in a striker in a long, long time.

The sight of Archer bearing down on goal is one to behold, his touch, pace, composure is something we've missed in a striker for so long.

As for Hackney, what a story this is turning out to be. On the bench for a soon to be non-league Scunthorpe team this time last year, now starring for a team chasing promotion to the Premier League.

Barlaser must be gutted he can't get into the team!

I think we have some of the best players in the league as whole if they are utilised correctly

Jonny howson, before wilder what were people doing with him. Wasted until then. I say before wilder for the spurs performance alone

Ryan giles, the best crosser in the league

Archer - he could be challenging for best player in league. They way he’s changed us has been a breath of fresh air. we’ve looked unreal since he’s come in. We’re we have looked a little morelaboured in other games l. Best 2 performances Watford home and sheff utd away. Made them both look ordinary

I am trying my absolute best not to fall in love with Archer - as is always the sensible ruling with loan players - but he's making it very difficult...🏹
