Greenwood booked for dissent

The idea that this happened before Neil was carded has got huge currency across social media. (Some are even suggesting we had two booked.) But I don’t remember it and not one of the official sites listing the match stats supports it. They all list Jones and Coburn as our only two first half bookings. Is it just one of those “repeat a lie enough it becomes the truth” memes? Or can anyone substantiate it?

The Sky match coverage reported and showed him as being booked.

Seemingly this must have been a mistake on their part, but I could have sworn I watched the referee showing him the card at the time.

If it did happen it was while Sky were showing replays of the Jones tackle and booking. The commentators thought the referee had shown another yellow card in the aftermath but they weren't sure who to. "Probably Greenwood or Fry" I think they said.

It came up as confirmed as Greenwood booked on the sky coverage. A few minutes after they said it was fry or Greenwood for dissent.

And when he fouled their player at the start of the second half - they said he was on a booking so needed to be careful.

It looks like they were probably wrong.
