Grand National Supercomputer 😡

"The company’s statisticians have written some clever code, which uses bookmaker odds and Racing Post ratings, and then simulated the race 1,000 times to ensure accuracy and rule out anomalous results."

And on the back of that they are predicting the favourite has the best chance and the second favourite has the second best chance! God give me the strength to deal with modern world and all its feckless idiots. :(

My Supercomputer uses a secret logarithm 👍

The Grand National is probably the least predictable race in the calendar year because of the huge fences, and the large entry, and the high chance of being brought down by another faller or a stray horse that has unseated its rider. From a betting perspective I imagine that it is the worst race for proper serious gamblers.

If they are going to use their definitely-real-and-not-made-up-super-computer-algorithm, then they perhaps should do it on more predictable races and keep quite about it while they make millions of pounds of easy money.
