Got stuck in the car this morning......and found a bit of history

I pulled into a space in the car park on the High Street opposite the Castlegate Centre when another car pulled in the next bay. By the time I realised that they had parked sp closee to me that I couldn't open my door enough to get out, the driver had disappeared. 40 bloody minutes I was there before she came back and drove off. Not even a look in my direction. Ignorant cow!
When I did eventually get out I watched some workmen removing the sign above a charity shop and in doing so exposed what appears to be the name of a previous business there. The style of writing on the shop seems to be quite old. It was called "THE BRITISH WALLPAPER SHOP" and was written in a gold coloured paint.
Anyway. I thought it might be of interest to some history buffs on here.

Could you not have reversed out and parked elsewhere?
You should have snapped a photo; there's a website for old photos of streets and shops

No Fragrance- the car park was full with other cars waiting for empty spaces.
I'm not very clever with phones and stuff. I have just got a new phone and I'm blowed if I could work the camera
