First time in front of Boro fans since he left. He is really looking forward to it.

In my minds eye, really is at the top of players who have embraced the people, the culture and the needs of the area. Top, top man and why he is given the utmost respect of people as he went over and above what we’ve seen from professional footballers who hadn’t a previous affiliation with the area.

Actions he undertook were for exactly the right reasons- he cared and wanted to make a difference.

I see his parents are coming to the game - really nice people.

Hope George enjoys the reception- no player has ever been more fitting to receive a reception of both love and appreciation.
