Getting this to work with my google account and 2 kids is quite possibly the most complex process since Einstein worked out E=MC2

The most annoying thing of all is the 'clear and easy' step-by-step process that is anything but, and makes me feel like I must be much much thicker than I actually am

Isn't it as simple as becoming the family manager, sending out the invites then accepting them?
I've just done it so I can access some of my paid apps on my Android car headunit without signing in to it using my main Google account.

I wish it was that simple

I get 'Page not found', there are dead links galore, I get 'You can't do that for if your child is under 13 or under 18'... what is that meant to mean?!!

To get full, non-kiddy Spotify on my child's phone I had to uninstall Family, then reinstall after the Spotify app was on. I forgot that it is not a lightning quick process.

I found it much easier to manage via my parent app than if I was doing things through a web browser, if that's where you're getting your dead links.
