Good Italians in Scarborough?

Looking to book a good size table ( 18) for a family evening meal, the Lanterna is closed on the night I want ,can any locals give a few pointers on the best place? The best on trip adviser look good but nothing stands out.

I know a quaint little pizzeria just off the sea front, and If you go on a Tuesday its buy one get one free!

Mate has just sent me this,

Ask Italian on the sea front, Giovanis just off Aberdeen Walk, personally there are better in Filey.

Another vote for Ask Italian, especially if there are children in the party. We had a great time at the Scarborough venue.

The Lanterna is far better and a more authentic Italian restaurant than any other in truth, the rest are much of a muchness, but Giannis is definitely the better of the rest in Scarborough imho

I was having a meal with the owner of an Italian restaurant recently.

I asked him if he liked his pizzaria.

He said he'd rather be eating it in the garden outside.

Florios on Aberdeen Walk is a good little place...and has a bit of football history in there!

hasnt tuscany too got a good reputation? keep meaning to try it when im on a short break over that way.

For bar meals i can recommend 3 jolly sailors in Burniston

Tuscany Too is spot on we’ve been a few times when in the area, it’s only small like so a booking for 18 could fill the place!
