i thought about Whelan as soon as it happens. I don't remember many other ridiculous og scored by us in my time. Didn't Parks or Cooper lob one back into his own net with an attempted backpass one? I'm sure it happened but i can't quite recall it.

This Jamie Pollock effort is a cracker when he was at Man City. Quite Gazza-esque, just at the wrong end

I recall Parky's og at Leeds as more of a ridiculous bounce that took it past Poole rather than a particularly bad back pass.

Also remember Stuart Boam lobbing a ball back to Jim Platt at the holgate end v Leicester, Platty had come off his line too much & didnt get back in time
