Getting a refund on a season ticket before the season.

Has anyone managed to get a refund on a season ticket before the season has kicked off?

Most Boro games are on tv now.

I hate the experience or the Riverside now and this digital ticketing that is being forced on fans, the paying to print tickets is enough for me and my family.

Going to go and watch either Stockton or Marske and some real football on a weekend.

You are doing the right thing if things like this bother you to that extent. The best course of action when fans disagree with the club’s ethos is to stop going, rather than moan about it. I’ve no doubt the club will refund you.

If you feel that strongly about it then thats what you have to do. I wont mind the digital tickets when I am affected. I wont pay to print my own tickets at home so that may mean I dont go to any cup matches that I feel are not value for money but each to their own I suppose.

Ring the club and ask, or have you not embraced the telephone either?

Yeah but you will be watching real football at either Stockton or Marske.

Its being 'forced' upon us in all aspects of life, not just by the Boro. You either embrace it or your will be left behind.

Aye but you will be watching Boro on the tele.

Ps - i'm only ribbing you RL, take a day or two to calm down and you will realise its not as bad as it seems. Other clubs fans will have had the same worries, but seems to be working fine so wouldn't worry too much about it.

digital ticketing is being forced onto fans.. so you're going to give up going to the football what is in real life.. and watch it on the tele.. a digitised version of the game.

cough, cough.. sounds bonkers.

It's like saying you hate being wet and cold and then striping off and jumping into the north sea!!

Although his reasoning for giving up his season ticket seems trivial, I can’t believe the sh1t Redlips is getting on here after stating he doesn’t want to go anymore.

Too many of our fans feel the club can do no wrong and are always willing to defend them. The charge of £1.50 per printable ticket is another step they have taken in the wrong direction.

P.S. But we already have a thread running on this.

no room for simply ‘understanding’ someone’s point o view is there.
itts wrong v right
must admit It is easy, sadly, to believe the kind of reactions on here

Tickets were digital at Chesterfield (Real Betis) and Bradford and it was so easy, absolutely nothing to worry about. My parking ticket for the cup game at Huddersfield is also digital and is already sitting in my Apple wallet waiting to be used. As already mentioned, the booking fees are a right old rip off, but using digital tickets is a doddle.
