Diedhiou, Wyke and Dwight Gayle.Release Akpom and britt, keep fletcher, kabano, yannick, laing. Promotion next season and with wood coming back from crewe could maybe afford to push mcnair to midfield always available for defence for cover.

Fletcher might reject our offer and bugga off somewhere else.
His wages are reputedly high.
Ack is not up to the mark unfortunately.
He could always go on loan to Sunlun in exchange for Wyke + wonga to Mackems?
Sooner spend on Yannick, Neeskins and Mendes (y)

Release Akpom?

Hadn't he got a contract?
Akpom is the only centre forward we are stuck with , Watmore and Tav / Browne could also class as forwards
Fletcher , Britt , Bolasie , Kebano , Johnson , NML are gone , unless we offer them something .
6 to replace , big job , Neil has his work cut out .

Keeping the loanees who've strengthened us since Jan is going to be a problem in its self ...

Bolasie, Kebano (particularly if Fulham come down), Mendez-Laing, Fisher .. we have no idea which way that is going to go but it will take a lot of money to keep Bolasie on our books and a considerable offer if we were to buy Kebano from Fulham, no doubt they'll slap a big price tag on him! Mendez-Laing and Fisher may be the easier contracts to tie down but who knows.

Hopefully, with Britt off the books, it strengthens our position in being able to offer Bolasie a contract he will sign. He seems happy here, as do all of them which is a good sign. I hope we are able to find a way to keep them all here.

Dwight Gayle would be a ridiculous addition to the squad! There's no way we're pulling that one off :ROFLMAO: ... he is defo a player though that tears this league a new one. Would be unreal to see. If we signed him you'd be talking top two material on top of the players we have currently with more to come in ...

I hope Fletcher hangs around but there's always a chance Warnock might see it fit to cash in and make way for new players coming in. Could be some surprising departures, especially due to the Covid situation absolutely knacking our finances.

I'd love to know who Warnock has on his 'list' for next season, and it sounds like he is already in contact with many players he wants in the squad. Going to be very interesting to see how the starting 11 looks in our first game next season  I wish our club had the nous in spotting a player, making the club attractive to them, but it's a weakness we've suffered for years now and whether NW has improved us in that department, we'll see I guess.

A goalkeeper is another I forgot to mention. I'd be surprised if Warnock sticks with Bettenelli and doesn't bring in a better keeper ... He's been a big disappointment. Decent as a no.2 but I'd imagine he will be off to a new club playing games, not being a sub. Watch, where ever he ends up next season I bet he ends up being unreal :ROFLMAO:

If Fulham go down and have a fire sale... Would you be tempted into a smash the league double offer for Kebano & Mitrovic?

Crazy financial times but our wage bill will be much lighter in the summer with so many albatrosses out of contract. And surely the best time to spend money is when everyone else doesn't.

Can see next season being very open, it usually is when Norwich aren't in the Champo 😁 Worth a gamble since it will probably be Warnock's last?

Gayle is on over 50k a week. That's part of the reason he's stayed at Newcastle because they wanted 100% of wages paid and a large loan fee. Even as a free transfer he would command 30-50k.

It's hardly 'sense' to get Britt off the books and sign someone on more😂

Bolasie has been on 80k. He's 31 and injury prone. I have been impressed but he's definitely not one you'd throw a longterm contract at. How much of a pay cut would you take after being on 80k? Once again even 30k would be to much.

Mendez lang is the most likely. I think Kebano will be very much part of Fulhams plans if they go down. Probably a decent chance of a season loan if not.

I can only assume people didn't see the financial results published yesterday? They are also the 'better' ones and will look far worse next year. To sign the players we did in Jan and frankly to sign anyone in the summer will be a stunning achievement by Gibson. We are leaking money (as is everyone).

To think we will sign players who want 30k+ is absolutely dreamland and I hope we dont go near them. Those days are rightly gone. I for one am happy we are no longer held to ransom👏

If your counting wide players in your forward list you can include Watmore and Browne as players who will still be here.

But that will still be Mighty big bucks to us and most championship clubs
true, if Gayle doesn't get prem interest, and I guess that depends who goes up, then I would think he'll be avail for 35k, not many can afford that in the champ. He'll either stay at the skunks for that sort of fee if they go down or to maybe another championship parachute payment team, I can see him being a cheap replacement for Ayew at Swansea who is the highest paid player in the championship on about 70k.

With regards to Fisher he signed a contract with us not a loan so he's here for keeps.
