Keeping the loanees who've strengthened us since Jan is going to be a problem in its self ...
Bolasie, Kebano (particularly if Fulham come down), Mendez-Laing, Fisher .. we have no idea which way that is going to go but it will take a lot of money to keep Bolasie on our books and a considerable offer if we were to buy Kebano from Fulham, no doubt they'll slap a big price tag on him! Mendez-Laing and Fisher may be the easier contracts to tie down but who knows.
Hopefully, with Britt off the books, it strengthens our position in being able to offer Bolasie a contract he will sign. He seems happy here, as do all of them which is a good sign. I hope we are able to find a way to keep them all here.
Dwight Gayle would be a ridiculous addition to the squad! There's no way we're pulling that one off
... he is defo a player though that tears this league a new one. Would be unreal to see. If we signed him you'd be talking top two material on top of the players we have currently with more to come in ...
I hope Fletcher hangs around but there's always a chance Warnock might see it fit to cash in and make way for new players coming in. Could be some surprising departures, especially due to the Covid situation absolutely knacking our finances.
I'd love to know who Warnock has on his 'list' for next season, and it sounds like he is already in contact with many players he wants in the squad. Going to be very interesting to see how the starting 11 looks in our first game next season
I wish our club had the nous in spotting a player, making the club attractive to them, but it's a weakness we've suffered for years now and whether NW has improved us in that department, we'll see I guess.
A goalkeeper is another I forgot to mention. I'd be surprised if Warnock sticks with Bettenelli and doesn't bring in a better keeper ... He's been a big disappointment. Decent as a no.2 but I'd imagine he will be off to a new club playing games, not being a sub. Watch, where ever he ends up next season I bet he ends up being unreal
